Hey, Jade. Nice sig pic. You drive an S2000, right? How do you like it? I'm going to buy a new car when I graduate at the end of April, and I'm currently looking at the Mazda MX-5 and the Honda S2000. I wondered if you have any comments about the car.
Cheers,
Mike

Yes! the s2000 is very nice to look at and to drive. It handles well and sticks to the road. It wont slide at all its great Only bad thing is its a sports car no back seats no space to put stuff.
But tbh i am selling it this year some point and im getting a mustang

if you got the equipment (reference to your sig lol)
just do some you want to. I think we still need a federation officer or some frodo-type guy (sorry couldn't help myself again ) doin the dominion. also klingons so you got plenty of things to choose from. just look at kenneth's summary post in the "already recorded sounds"-Thread here. Or some minors introductions. There's a huge list there
sports cars..well I couldn't afford one right now but I recently sat in a BMW 5 and I must say I really like our tempo-limit-free autobahn lol

Yes. It is open to all to record the readings. There is a list of what we need for each major race in this thread. (look for the reply that starts in red)
http://www.botfii.armadafleetcommand.co ... 7&start=90
The dev for each games make the final selection from the submitted MP3 readings.
Look over the instructions. Check out the software and give us your best vocal renditions to add to the selection.
The response so far has been so underwhelming. I have removed the minor race intros from that post and have been doing those on my own. At this point 122 of the 145 minor race intros are on file in Sharepoint. I can only do so much on my own with the major races so please pick one or more to read. There is nothing submitted yet for the Federation, Klingon or Dominion.

That mustang is in Cardassian yellow. Consider a Klingon red or a Romulan green with metallic flecks. Avoid Ferengi orange. It does not go with your eyes.

Mustangs rule? Sheeeeesh! You all wanna get the gal killed? I mean its a FORD for the GODS sake! ( Sorry Odin, Thor)
Since I'm no in the U.k. I do not remember how the roads are there, but a stang? Not built for those road types. And did I mention it's a Fraud? Oops Sorry I mean Ford??
Jade, by looking at your pic. I would venture in truth your a Vette kinda woman. Sexy, speed, excellent handling in almost all weather conditions. Yes that would be the car I see you owning.

well if it's for one-time-occasion (a little more extended trip for example), think about renting a sports car (got a TT last year, was fun), i know that sucks in the long run but at least it's fun for a while

@ Jade
don’t let them try to change your mind about the “stangâ€￾ I have had a 06 for about a year now. I love it to death just don’t get it in black it is a real pain in the arse to keep clean.
make sure you look into getting a manual though. Ford 5 speed-automatics transmissions have a problem slipping gears on pick up.

The Vet has become a really great sports car but it is large and expensive. The stang will be good.

I agree with Malvoisin about the German cars. Unfortunately, the only roadsters worth buying that's less the $40k are Japanese, which is why I'm probably going to get the MX-5 with the power retractable hardtop. I must have a roadster (2-seater convertible).
If I had a bigger budget, I'd love to have one of the new BMW 335i coupes or convertibles, though .
