I know it's probably a long shot... but is there anywhere i can still play the origanal game online.... as me and a friend couldn't find anything..

Hey there, syddraf, elcome to the site!

The MSN Zone was taken down a looong time ago. There ARE alternatives though. I know there are several, but the only one i've ever used is Hamachi.

You will BOTH need to download the program that is above, create your own network, then give each other the IP addresses that Hamachi gives you. Set your friends IP address (And vice-versa) in the game lobby, and you will then be able to play via multiplayer.

By the way, are you Welsh? Your name sounds Welsh to me. I'm typing from Wales too.

Also, with Hamachi you *may* need to forward a few ports. And make sure to disable your firewall.

no... syddraf isn't welsh... it's my real name translated from the Al-Bherd alphabet on the game Final Fantasy 10 on PS2... syddraf = matthew....

thanks for the info..... we were trying to do a multi with just me and my fiend last night, but we couldn't figer out how to link the two computers properly as they go though a wireless router.. hehe.. in the end we just gave up and and came on here an posted...

are there many ppl on that site playin.. so i can ask for help if i get stuck..

well, http://www.armadafleetcommand.com/botf is the site to go for all botf and hamachi-related stuff and also for finding new players for example.

Well if nothing works, you may wanna try out bote here (it's completely playable like botf but without lags, 3d battle and crashes (hopefully )).

actually I'd like to see too if the connecting works thru your wireless router!
