I was on my way to LA when I got a call to interview for the new Paramount film code name "untitled project." I have now signed an agreement not to reveal specific details of the project. I can say that the part was for one day only of shooting and a very specific character type. There were 65 people called that could show up. 28 were selected. The type they needed was a specific unsavory antisocial type. Some of others at the interview looked like they had years of professional experience in this line. I was clearly too clean cut for the part. It is how you look and not how much you want the part. I did not make the cut but have been on the lot at costuming and one of many sound stages used for the project. It was a fun learning experience. It was nice to have it all happen while I was in the LA area anyway. There is only about a month left in the extra process so I keep hoping for one more chance and that three will be the charm. We will see.
