Post subject:  Lost Empires - 4x space strategy game...

Anyone's going to buy this?

I've been told that all the graphics and text can be changed...i believe it could be used to make a decent ST mod, what do you think?

I feel a bit "lost" when looking at those screenshots :lol: but otherwise, yeah, maybe someone mods it. I would rather see it on release first (with updated gallery) to see if it's worth the hassle.

Its not bad game i think tho i hear the devs steal names from everywhere with names like borga in their previous game. :p

The map view i duno, i like botf map more than galactic civ 2/sins style.

The Botf map is my favorite of all 4x games. Second is the Imperium Galactica I & II map (real-time), then comes the Master of Orion 1 & 2 map. I don't like starlanes. The problem with GalCiv is that you have to micromanage every ship: "What kind of Admiral are you? Didn't you notice this Armada that crossed our border?"

Imperial gal 2 was good i just didnt like the ground battles or the really long till anything happened kinda thing.
