ALL the posts from yesterday have been lost, both on here and on the other forums. Because Filefront is closing down, there's a mad rush on at the moment to back up every mod, patch and file we can. Jig and Skeet have been working to create a new site called Star-trek-mods.com where it's hoped all the backups can be placed. The files are going to be duplicated on other sites as well to ensure the loss of an individual site won't result in a massive loss to the community in the future.

I haven't had official confirmation from Jig about it yet, but i'm guessing the loss was caused because of the way the forums are backed up. Since we moved the forums here, the forums have been backed up once per day to minimise any post losses. Unfortunately, the backups are automatic and occur at a set time, which hadn't happened when the new site was created. So when the servers were rebooted this morning once the new site had been uploaded, the servers loaded up the most recent backup of the forums they had - which didn't include yesterday's posts because yesterday's backup hadn't occured before the servers were switched off.

*Edit - in his own words, Jig is an eejit. The post loss was all his fault. He stupidly updated phpbb and joomla at the same time and then chose to use the wrong forum backup. He won't be doing that again.

That explains why I'm re-reading some posts, and my post about DAC being Legacy 2.0 disappeared.

Yeah... I'm not very optimistic.

Well no one has been so far, even though we haven't got the evidence to show it anymore lol. This game looks like it's going to be all style and no substance. And as I pointed out in my lost post, the style isn't even correct with the blue, doubled-up Photons, and Kenneth's point about the Nacelle emissions.
