3D max was not enough this time, I also had to use photoshop a bit. I also used a lot of video post again (great plugin for 3d max by default)
Rendering took 4h (on clocked Q6600)
Modeling/texturing took 3 days and 4 battery energy drinks.

What else: The ship was an older project for Star Trek Online MMORPG, it looked too nice to be left unfinished, so I modded the model a bit, to make it look like it's under construction.
The planet behind the spacedock and the ship is the same model I created before, but with new cloud textures and an a color tweak to green.
Spacedock was specially created for the scene this time.

Although, I know it isn't SUPER OMG!!! WTF picture, I'm still hoping to make it to the Daily Deviations with it.

Get the model for us and the ch'Rihan shall have a home. :mrgreen:

It looks like it would make a good replacement for the model we currently have as the Romulan Destroyer III - the ch'Rihan actually looks like a development of the model we currently have as the Destroyer II.

Good thinking Matress, ACXtreme said that ship's time is 20 years after Valdore (Norexan) ship.

Very nice. We can move the old Distroyer I over to Minors without a problem. Just move the rest around and put the new one where you think it fits best. Remember to update the 270x225.pngs online, the model threat and the image library on SharePoint.
