I really, REALLY like the Akira and Sovereign designs, and I would take the Defiant anywhere and open a nice can of whup@$s. But really there is only one consideration, especially as I am such a canon fanatic, and that must be the Excelsior. This ship is probably the best of the re-workings of the original Connie design, just truly beautiful to look at. Besides, this ship was in service for more than eighty years, with no sign of slowing down like the Constellation. With refits and upgrade packages, and with equipment kitbashes (there are a couple of hideous ones, but hey - they were necessary), the design and general philosophy is alive and well. For making such a long-lived impression of the Trek universe, Excelsior is No. 1! |

That whole post reflects exactly what I think. Defiant all the way, but I love the Excelsior. I'm also quite partial to a bit of Klingon Bird Of Prey. |

I love Federation vessels, the Sovereign and the Defiant being my favourites. But besides them I go for a little Klingon power. The Negh'Var! |

Which Negh'Var? Gowron's of the Mirror Worfs? (the latter is a far larger version, but they used the same model...) |

Well, the bigger one had the obvious design flaw of no close range defences. So I'll go with Gowron. |

In the game....or in the show? In the game...Romulan Strike Cruisers. Outside the game....Enterprise-A refit....best looking ship ever. |

I always liked the klingon bird of prey which first appeared in the voyage home, you know it was originaly designed to be a romulan vessel? very losely designed on the TOS romulan ships wich is why it has wings painted on it, also the wright brothers must have been trekies since the first plane they flew was also called bird of prey |

Favourite ships in game: figure and line - Sovereign and Bird of pray best ship at battle - Defiant interesting design - Galor But in 'real' StarTrek universe I really like vulcan ship from 'Enterprise' series. I can't find it in any database so I will not give you its name. Of course it deoesn't mean I do not like other federation ships, I just get used to them |

The States PT/Troop Cruiser is the first operational troop missile cruiser in Starfleet. These unique vessels have gained the respect and admiration of their crews because of their handling characteristics and offensive capabilities. The overall design came from Terran MACOS Engineering design teams to create a cruiser with photon torpedoes as its main weapons. And the main military troops number to 160. And it is first ship in starfleet to have holodeck for troop. Plus it has the only two transporters that has 80 pods each. The teams took the old Starstalker Class secondary hull spaceframe, and Constitution II Class primary hull. These ships have so captured the heart and spirit of the Terra that the majority are crewed solely by them. All have been named for all States of Terra. The States class forms the core of all squadrons in the famed 'Beta Terra Fleet', and is an integral part of front line troop cruisers forces for Star Fleet. The warp engines are mounted like the Starstalker Class and with Excelsior warp engines . As with all Starfleet vessels, the engines can be jettisoned in case of an overload in the matter/anti-matter chamber. The States PT/Troop Cruisers saw great use in battles against the Klingon, Tholian, Breen and Romulan empires. The ability to saturate a target with photon torpedo fire proved an excellent way to cripple targets at range, making all the strongest cruisers and the fast transporte assault troops sufficiently so skirmish units could finish the job. Go see my design at (http://www.geocities.com/mars_database/main.html) (http://planetside.firenebula.com/startr ... php?id=657) (http://www.shipschematics.net/startrek/ ... states.jpg) (http://www.wolfsshipyard.mystarship.com/) Ihopr you like it . |

My favorite ship has to be the Valdore. Followed up by the D'Deridex and the D'Ridren. As long as it's smooth, green and cloakable! |
