Actually skeet I did already look at it. I tried optimising it, but that barely saved anything because it already is optimised. Cropping the image makes Picard look restricted. And besides, I don't think it's that bad; you're the only person I know of that has actually complained. :razz:

Personally, I am a fan of jambalaya. I actually got the idea from DS9 when I watched it for the first time many many years ago. BTW it can actually be cooked and eaten, unlike plomeek soup :twistedlaugh:

The photo with the dancing Captain indeed seems better now it is "optimized" (not having the extra space on either side) but in the future I would appreciate it if my consent was asked prior to any modifications of my signatures, profile photos etc :naughty: :naughty: :naughty:

I'm sorry about that Picard, but Skeeter is rather militant about stuff like this - and in fact, your signature was breaking the rules.

Skeeter was actually pushing for a ban on animated images in signatures, but because of people like you, I fought against that. I personally don't have a problem with your signature, but any images that are truly annoying or we receive complaints about will be removed at our discretion.

Now that that's over, get back to the Picard day celebrations!

I'm sorry for not being aware of the rules :redface:
I have also been talking to skeeter and he also explained the problem.

To do my part in helping streamline the forum, I have further reduced the size of my signature image to 106x123px and a size of 99kB (just below the 100kB threshold).

Thank you for understanding Picard. And that has helped loads, but just for you, if you want the slightly larger size back you can use it but not the 200k size one. ;)
