Hi folks The site i work for (STG...formerlly known as STGD/STCD) recently announced a new "Dev Zone" section for fan developed games and total conversion mods for other games. The STG Developers Zone is unique (and original) in that it features developers weblogs which can be updated by the team person selected for updating, the log is based inside the STG Central Forum and is as easy as making a forum post. The blogs are fixed into the page's dedicated to that particular fan developed game so the second you post the news, it appears on your page. Also, if you have your own news feed we can simply put that in its place. Basically you get a small static website with a news section which you can update at anytime you want inside the oldest trek gaming site around which gets thousands of hits a day. Can one of the team members who are working on the project please contact me at katherine@strategyplanet.com ? Thanks Katherine http://www.strategyplanet.com/stgd |

STGD is back? Well that is good news! That was a brilliant website for downloads and the like. I was shocked when it closed down (As far as I knew) I think it's time for another flogging of my operatives... I'm not a programmer or anything, so I can't do this job for the site. I guess one of the big guys will have to do it for us. If anyone is reading this, and doesn't know what STGD is, then the site is: - http://www.strategyplanet.com/stgd/index1.htm For mods of several games, the link is: - http://www.strategyplanet.com/stgd/mods.htm And a direct link to the BOTF mods is: - http://www.strategyplanet.com/stgd/botfmods.htm All the normal mods can be found at this website, such as the phaser, torpedo, multi, and colonies mods. I personally recommend the Titans mod. You may need a strategyplanet account to actually download some of the stuff though. (But an account is free) Anyway, welcome back to STGD! |

I think that this is something Gavin should do. Only when you want to, though. |

When the screenies are sent, if someone could include a few paragraphs about the general gameplay and changes made in BotF 2 that would be great |

Cool, yeah video would be cool, send a couple of screenies though, the new dev portal will have snapshots of each game in thumbnails so we will need a couple at least. |

Thanks Katherine, really great to also see others trying to create projects and new games, based on StarTrek. |
