I own the game (2 copys iin fact! ) and I have lost both discs.
Do any of you know were I can get a down load of the origan game?I'm a idoit for loseing them I know

There was a patched / fixed version of the game online for a while. However, I think you had to have an original disk to run it. Edit: Google "Birth of the Federation Download" Wow I found the old game selling on Ebay for $40-$50. I think it was saying there were new ones. |

I'l just load it useing deomon tools. For some reason when I had the disks vista would load it but not start the game so had to use it that way. |

Get the copy they have on ArmadaFleetCommand. You'll need to sign up for a forum account (It's free, like with us) before you can access their downloads section, but it's worth it. The AFC guys are still working on patching and updating the game, and the version they have contains many of those patches. They also have a multi-installer version that allows you to have an unlimited number of differently modded versions of the game on your computer at the same time. I wouldn't trust downloading the game from other site, as you don't know if they are trustworthy. AFC used to be our parent site, so they're definitely trustworthy. We broke away from them due to severe server problems three years ago, but they've solved those problems now. |
