IFC posted a new interview with Star Trek XII star Zachary Quinto conducted at the Film Independent Spirit Awards and asked him about the scene being shot in the leaked images.

“It is awesome. We’ve been working on that sequence for five days,” Quinto said, refusing to give away any additional plot details.

Quinto’s “Margin Call” director J.C. Chandor piped up that he and his daughter were on set the day that the scene was being film. “I was afraid they were going to think it was me who leaked that picture but it wasn’t,” he said. Quinto said he had no doubts that whoever did share the photos would be found and duly punished.

“The picture leaking did not go over so well. They’re go to great lengths to preserve security,” he said.

MTV News posted a new interview with Star Trek XII star Zoe Saldana conducted at the Independent Spirit Awards, where she talked about the movie's leaked photos.

"J.J. was very upset," she said. "I have to say that. It's not going to stop people from intruding, but they are, and it's such a bummer because it only hurts them by stealing away the surprise."

OK guys, please act surprised when you go see the movie.

Now also a video has been leaked:
http://trekmovie.com/2012/02/28/watch-v ... -shooting/

So, we can see...
Spoiler: show
Mr Cumberbatch beating the crap out of Mr. Spock. Since Vulcans are a lot stronger than humans, this can only mean, Cumberbatch's character (who seems to be a human) is ................. wait for it............. an Augment. This also, leaves open the possibility for an appearance by Khan, even though it has been officially denied (if I'm not mistaken).

Also,
Spoiler: show
the background seems to be ruins or something. Unfortunately, a big part is a green screen so it's not possible to say exactly what or where (well Vulcan is obviously not a possibility :twistedlaugh: )

Did I miss something?

With all the set images from J.J. Abrams Star Trek sequel hitting the net, the director is none too happy.

So much so, that Abrams has erected a barrier - a wall - to block prying eyes from snapping anymore pics of the Star Trek crew (via Egotastic).

J.J. Abrams ordered the installation of 30 large shipping containers outside his primary shooting location, strung together like a Maginot Line against prying paparazzi.

The great wall of Abrams

As if that will stop the paparazzi... They could always go for a helicopter ride and snap all the photos they want :twistedlaugh:

I watched the video and the funny thing was that the event was supposed to be a "secret" but the journalists/paparazzi were there. So, at least someone will be watching the watchers...

Apparently, as it seems the drones are the future. Even the Pirate Bay is considering putting some of their servers in drones, flying over international waters so that they cannot be shut down :twistedlaugh:
