Is anyone interested in a game of Supremacy this Sunday?
I am hoping for 7 PM London, 8 PM Berlin, 2 PM East Coast Time, 12 noon Phoenix Arizona (if I have my time zones right)

Unfortunately I won't be able to play. Next weekend I might, but I'm not sure. If you happen to play MP, could you test the Fed colony ship I thing, please? Use the data files I posted in the linked thread below, to see if they "fix" the issue. If they do, we can use the temporary fix for the next release in case Mike doesn't have the time to fix it properly. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4847Thanks.

Thanks, I got the resources folder update. No one has shown up for a MP game so far. I will be working on my XNA game learning project in the mean time. It is a slow process with all there is to C# game stuff and just free time to spend on it. Some day we may see a 3D combat engine.
The next two weekends sounds good for me as well. We can look at that colony ship issue.

Great game, we are still playing.
Good news, the Federation Colonyship is a real ship now. I used one to colonize a system.
Sorry the rest of you missed the big game.

Well done Kenneth! Next time I'll not leave you that an opportunity, be assured! We stopped now as I'm too sleepy and he was next to romulus and easily could have defeated my fleet due to some bad mistakes of mine. We found a few bugs again Kenneth will report later I suppose.

You are too kind. I just managed to assault a few Romulan systems and crash the game in the process.

well, you'd have needed to make alot of bad mistakes in a row now to not win the game you had 20 ships, mostly cruisers 3 sectors apart of romulus and a couple more coming I had 4 cruisers, 2 battle hawks and a couple of destroyers, and I just messed two new cruisers by the shipyard upgrade you already wiped a few systems and you're worth the title - this time

That system assault can work well for you. Even when it is a scout or two out in your enemies back yard.
The Feds do seam to be able to produce a nice balanced set of ships. Still it is harder not being able to cloak your numbers like the Romulans and Klingons.
You play a good game. I want you on my side the next time I go to war.

It was just a temp workaround, it'll have to be addressed properly eventually. But I'm glad it worked!
