There's a new Syfy alien-invasion series coming on April 2013. In a nutshell:

Defiance is coming out today. Are any of you lucky guys living in the States going to watch it?

I have only seen the first hour so far. It is not as cool as Firefly or as bad as the original BSG. It could go somewhere. We will see.

I'm planning to watch it tonight, but from what I read on the web it's getting mediocre reviews. Anyway, perhaps it picks up a bit later...
