Im not trying to be rude but am very eagar to play this game! I heard it was suppose to be ready in June 05 and was wondering what is the progressive state of the game? CptTroy |

June? Where did you hear that? 
I heard it was originally planned for <last> christmas, then coz of the unfortunate loss of half the game and a few other problems, it was pushed back til the latter half of this year. I've certainly not heard that as a release date. Anyway, we know the game is 85-90% done, so just hold your horses, it won't be too long now, like Jig says.

if its very soon jig u and gtuffrey must have had a few games ur self by now to test out some aspects. Even if they arent complete ones arent there any new screen shots ? |

I've just been waiting since BOTF1 came out...I think i'm right in guessing it's the same for everyone else?

whats the download plans, are you going to release it as a torrent. ill help seed as i've got bb and its nealy always left in so i can donate about 20% of my upload speeeds at the worst of time and ill donate it all when im not downloading. |

Quick question that I think is answered somewhere.....is this only going to be available on Windows? I'm using Linux now....Still got windows...I reboot to play UT, Civ 3, and work on my VB software....but I'm trying to break from Windows totally. Anyway. Thanks. |

I don't know about Linux. Why do you use it anyway? If its not being released for Linux try Microsoft's Virtual PC (it might not work on Linux) but if it does you can create segmants of your Hard Drive with different Operating Systems.

If there is not too complicated DirectX-stuff it could be run in the wine-layer, I guess. Alternatively there are VmWare or QEMU. I'd really like to start a linux port if the source code would be open source, though I'm not too skilled in C++. |

To be fair i think this game will actually ruin my life. Im about to go into final year of my degree (engineering) and dont need this game... i need to study(apparently)! Please dont release it till next june  ;P

Undated.. All study and no BOTF makes Dated a bored Engineer! Cause him to hunt women with a warm beer in his hand, and if possable catch one, get hmmmm hitched, have babies and Whoa!!!! Forbid this... Never be allowed to play Botf again as Wife Demands attention!!!  8O
