First off im sure you get these kind of messages all the time, so i apolagise in advance, and feel free to flame me till the cows come home if this is the case, but i have a few questions to ask all you guys which i have not been able to answer from looking at the site. - What quality will the battles be? is there a graphical comparison anyone can give? what federation ships will be included? will voyager and defiant be avalible towards the end of the time line? - Will the game be at least the same scale and size as the original, or a smaller game overall? - Whats the estimated release of the game? be it educated guess or offical release? - I cant seem to find many screen shots, are there any of especially the battles i can see?? Any help from you guys would be apreciated, thanks in advance James |

1) The tactical fights will be enhanced in graphical and strategic manners. There will be more and different tactical orders the ships will be able to perform. And finally, the battle field will be around three times bigger botf I's was. The Intrepid and Defiant classes will be in, but not at the very top of the tech tree. The top actually will be Sovereign/Prometheus development. 2) The game will undoubtly be a bigger one compared by features and depth in game play. The galaxies will be huge as the smallest will even have more systems than the big one from botf I. 3) Noone but gavin, the lead programmer and "god of all things electronic" knows. But common estimation says something about christmas for a public beta. 4) There actually are not much screens yet. The most of them you find by looking at the screens-thread: http://botfii.armadafleetcommand.com/in ... opic&t=442 (Note: It's quite a bit outdated so don't be too disappointed if the graphics are still lacking a bit quality, this of course will be fixed.) Anyway, until we have screenshots of tactical fights it will take some time as gavin has just recently starting experimenting with the models that have been finished. |

Just 6-8 weeks?? wow, any chance of the makers releasing any videos or screens?? surely enough is done to be able to release screens of the final look. Ive heard about some videos before and wasnt sure if they existed or not! |

Without sounding like a total trekker, i think he'll be playing as the klingons alot when him and the team get the game done! lol but seriously i just wanna thank in advance to the team and all those involved with the game, i only found out about it a fwe days ago and i have to say im really impressed. Espcially after all us brits are just about to have our final episode of Trek for god knows how long, its good to know we're going to get what looks like a really good game to habbit our addiction! Any news if gturfrey survived his drinkin session?? he sounded like he wa gona hit it pretty hard, and rightly so after his hectic lifestyle! P.S. any heads up on new screens of the game? possible battle screens or anything else interesting? i heard rumours of a video showing a battle scene and some gameplay? anything to that? |

Some people are just strange. I for one don't enjoy headaches, so I simply don't drink. The only alcohol i've ever had was half a glass of (Disgusting) Wine at my sister's wedding when I was 14. Haven't touched alcohol since. I'm 19 now, and I don't plan on drinking any time soon - and no, i'm not issuing a challenge to you guys!

i had wine at that age and again at 18 was rough as hell but im 2 now, and u get a taste for it i used to get the 3 for £10 bottles of wine and it all tasted the same, but now im getting a bit more refined. If u want to try wine get a rosey (its a fruity wine, but is just a kind like red or white) i started drinking alco pops when i was 17, and beer, beer isnt that nice to be honest, unless it is ice cold, and only good beer not crap like millar. Drinking is ok, i used to drink to get pissed with my mates in clubs and stuff, but i only drink wine with my girlfriend at dinner or a few beers when im chatting with my mates in the bar, if i get drunk then i get drunk, but i never go overboard, i know my limits now. So enjoy alcohol but as with everything else overdoing it can not be fun!! <End Rant> |

found about 15 errors in that, wasnt drinking when i typed it.. but sure seemed like it... (the point of the email was drinking isnt the end all, british people severally over do it and you see girls and guys that are comotose from drinking so much, whereas in france that would very very rarely happen to people my age, they just treat drink differently...) flip sake i wish i had never started! |

I've tried red and white wine once and champagne a few times and hated each. I never have gotten past the smell of beer. I don't have a taste for alcohol and I don't want to develop one. I've got better things to waste my money on.
