I thought i'd share, I fininshed this game a long long time ago, but I found it again at the bottom of my list named uber kilnk game.
I dont remember much of this game... but when I open it I get a feeling of insane combat and complete murder
I only have 2 pictures because I happened to save it the turn before it fininshed....
What was left of my fleet?
29 Destroyer II's (B'rel)
18 Attack Cruisers (Neghvar)
9 Attack Cruiser II's (Neghvar)
9 Destroyers (K'ting Like thingy)
9 Battle Cruiser II's (K'tinga)
18 Battle Cruisers (K'tinga)
13 Destroyer IV's (B'rel)
9 Heavy Cruisers (K'vort)
18 Strike Cruisers (Vorcha)
16 Assult Transport II's (Assualt transport, pretty straightforward )
Oh by the way, this is the Building mod 1.7.0 if any of you were wondering..

A glorious sight, sir. Qapla'! I too prefer the ring-shaped galaxy. I only recently dug out my copy of BOTF, and I've been enjoying playing as the Klingons (I never really played them in the past). However, my favorite race would still have to be the Cardassians--I like the balance of military and intelligence capabilities.

Wow, that must have been a true Blood game indeed!
I have an idea I want to toss at you all.
I'm starting a speed game. This game you take over the Universe as fast as possable. however there are rules. This is what makes it fun.
The Focus of the speed game is to take everything with as little turns as possable.
This is played at level 5, many minors, impossable mode. Being modded is fine. Random is off.
Rules:
1. Must own every system, accept no surrenders from major races.
2. Every system without minor races must be colonized.
3. No alliances are allowed with the other major races.
4. All peace treaties offered must be refused. Nor can you offer a peace treaty
5. Keep a record of turns. Also keep an accurate TIME record,i.e. how many total hours played.
6. Modded games are accpeptable, as long as all major races are balanced. ie it cannot take the ferengi 200 turns to build a maruader. Keep it real.
7. Once your game has commenced there is no going back. (Example) if you were in a battle and your best fleet got wiped out, too bad. You cannot go back to your last save and start again. got to keep it fair.
Be honest! When you report here.
Now I Love to play my Romulans. To keep it fair. I will only use cloaking for my scout ships. That should make my game interesting!
I would like to see 1 person each play a different race.
1 Klingon
1 Cardiassion
1 Romulan
1 Federation
1 Ferengi
Now I know just about everyone hates to play the Ferengi. I would play them but I just cannot see well with the color screen the game has.
If you all are interested please post so. I'm starting my game today.
I'll post where I am i.e. turns, time, # of systems held, total ships built, current battles engaged in.
So, I hope I get some takers. Talk with all of you soon!
Winterhawk,
Romulan Admiral,
Battle Crusier Group.

what do you mean keep record of turns?
you mean all? or just important ones?
I might be in as either feds or klingons..though I doubt I can do it...

I will every ten turns keep track of:
- number of systems
- number of warships
- number of troop transports
- a screenie of the galactic screen
Currently I'm at turn 60 (played: 1 hour 10 mins)

LOL fireball. Actually beating impossable is not that hard to do. Just a matter of timing and your troop movement. I've done it with all the races but Federation. For some reason when I play feds I get whooped on by the cardis or Klingons...
I got to get that screen shot capture thingy..... Then I got to fugure out how to install it to use...
It's all done in fun....

Yes, I will make sure it does..
yeah I love the second one too, the Galaxy Class is sooo amazing with its **** of phasers..
All we need for botf II is multi targeting phasers (so like if the galaxy is set to hit one ship, and another ship flys by its side or aft it can fire an aft torpedo or possibly a phaser, while still directing its main weaponry on the ship it is set to hit.
Now that would be cool.
Most of the ferengi from that battle retreated, so I bombed Ferenginar in retaliation, and built a starbase there, im playing on easy mode. In the meantime the klingons have an incredibly big fleet flying around in thier space, but I have random territories occupied in thier space.

Ages ago, there was a thread (Or it was mentioned in one) about shielding effects - how to do them and so on.
I'm pretty sure that means the effects are covered by now.
The second pic is definitely the best one, and I hope your idea is in, Fireball.

Die Klingons! Well this is my new fleet, as you can see, it is inexperienced, I lost too many damned ships in this battle.
I went in with 18 Ligh cruiser II's, 9 Command Cruiser II's and 9 Heavy Destroyer Mk II's
I was facing a neghvar, a bunch of vorcha's, some tamarian defenders, some K'tings, some d7's and some B'rels...
yeah I think I might have been outnumbered, but I out powered them, in the end I came out with 13 Light Cruiser II's, 8 Command Cruiser II's and 8 Heavy Destroyer Mk II's

I'll be joining the match as well playing as Klingons (for a change). I normally play on Hard for the sole purpose that on impossible the base morale on your home system is 80 which sucks big time.
But, I'll adapt and play by your rules. Galaxy is going to be a large eliptical one. Hope I'll survive..

What a fleet Fireball, what would you need to destroy a force like that?
