Well its a good test jig for those that do not have the latest hardware.

If anyone is confused about .net framework then just pop over to the microsoft update page and if u dont have it then you can get it that way. Last time i updated my .net fw it was about 20-40 meg it was around that size.

I've never heard of it before, and have no idea what it does, but I have all the microsoft updates installed so I'll assume its all there :)

Well if programs that are made with visual basic (i think) use the extra features that the .net framework has then those games usually need it.

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en

Get it here if u need to. It shoudl be in (Start/ControlPanel/Add or remove/it should be listed there if u have it or not, if in win xp and using sp2 u made need to make sure at the top its got show windows components, i think the option is. Then it will show windows updates and that.

I have a 1.3 Ghz Celeron, 512 mb of ram and a geoforce 4.
From what i've tested so far, it's smooth as butter.

Man does it look really nice! There are some nice features that should make the game a lot more enjoyable! You will all be pleased, the music is great, and the layout is great.

So far so good! You people will **** yourself once you see and play this

I kid you not

Gavin, are you developing on the v1.1 or v2.0 beta release of .NET? Are you referencing any assemblies that aren't included in the standard .NET Class Library or DirectX?

No problem, I live and breathe .NET. When you release the demo, you may want to consider releasing a Debug build rather than a Release build. I'd be glad to help you debug any problems I run into whilst playing.

And, since we're all listing specs here...

Workstation:
AMD Athlon X2 4200+
1024mb RAM
nVidia nForce4-SLI Chipset
nVidia GeForce 7800GTX (256mb)

ThinkPad T41p:
Intel Pentium M 1.70GHz
1024mb RAM
Intel 855PM Chipset
ATI FireGL Mobility T2 (128mb)

Cheers,
Mike

Fireball said he MIGHT do a high-quality ship mod, but only once the game has been released.

He apparently made a ship a while ago that weighs in at 100,000+ polies!

I doubt that will ever be in the game though.
