!!!!!What does the 3d combat really look like?!?!?!?!!

I've seen so many ship models and screens i get confused what is the 3d combat engine in botf II and what is from other games that people are using as examples of ships!!!
I saw a truely amazing screen of a klingon ship posted by gavin... is this wot the combat engine will look like?? Can someone clear this up and post a few screens of what the 3d combat engine with the ships in it will actually look like. Cus i've been searching the forumns and i canna search no more!! In short can all the in game 3d engine pics, be it ships, combat, starbases etc be posted in here, so people can see everything in one easy thread!! |

which klingon ship? i suspect you mean the one in my cardassian ship thread, that is in fact a render.

As far as I know the system will work like MoO2 when first released. This is 2D. Later on, a 3D patch will come available which will make it work like the original BotF. Only then even more beautiful.

As gav said in the audio interview he said i think it was gona be similar to "homeworld" style. Which as a fan of them games makes me pleased. Apart from that no one knows but gav i would think.
