I was in School today and started thinking about BOTF2 again...lol and i thought BOTF was kinder boring cause all it had was the shipsand the suns and a wormhole if the system had one so i am hopeing in BOTF2 you see the planets suns and all the ships as well and if the place has a planet the batters attack you aswell

By the looks of the screen-shots you just get to see the Suns and the ships, plus other major objects like Nebula's, etc.

I would imagine that showing all the bodies in a system in the main map would put an awful strain on the graphics card. Not the mention making the map untidy and unrealistic. After all, when was the last time you looked up and saw Mars? But you can see the sun easily as it is huge!

Maybe planets are shown, but they are so tiny we can’t see them? Lol

Depends what kind of Graphics Card you have I agree wiith Paul, you'll be able to see a lot more than in BOTF

@thom please use a title in your posts so people have an idea as to what the thread is about.
Planets will be seen in the 3d combat aspect of the game.
