Understand the reasons behind the delay, but wondering whether there is a new timescale for when a demo will be out, and when the final release is expected.

No not yet, but we're hoping for an announcement for the new release date soon, hopefully over the English schools half term next week, it will be released

EDIT- Damn, sorry Jig, I guess that was just my hope :D

Move house does mean move to a new house, right? Congratulations I think, unless that would be a downgrade to an inferior house. In that case I am truely sorry to hear that. But I like to think positive, so congratulations.

Considering the UK housing market, Gavin may have made a packet on his house if he has lived there for over 5 years i would say :D.

Then again it could all come crashing down again :(

It won't, the bank of england are carefully balancing the rates to ensure nothing drastic happens in the next few years. Property prices will most likely continue to stagnate for the next 3 or 4 years to balance out the previous price rises.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the meaning of "packet" in this context? I want to say it's equivalent to a month's income, but it's been a while since I've visited the UK.

Whereabouts in London are you moving?

packet is just a team meaning he made loads! so he means 3 loads of money, (doesnt sound as good when its put like that.... )

Just as a query Gav, how come you've decided to move?

(Obviously, this is meant as a general question not anything personal)

You wouldn't live near a shop called Finchley Supermarket by any chance, would you?
