Ok guys, i no this is nothing to do with star trek, but i am desperate, someone in my design team has LIED to us (group of 5) about how much work they have done, and now were are 6weeks of a 12 week semester in I need to carry his workload and mine. I need a few idea of what you could use the stone for. i no faca on the front of housing etc but what else. Stone walling and...

Also does anyone know anything about statistics and where to get them, i was want to cross reference some and hope to get say ' the number of houses over £x00,000 have stone walling, if this trend continues over the next ten years the market potiential is x.

I hope someone will try and help. pulling an all nighter.

layouts for hiking trails
decoration for fronts of housing.

thats all i could think of off the top of my head.

a no, crushed stone is in fact called hardcore, it is used for underpining foundations or for use as a base layer in roads, footings, slablaying (only in a small layer here though, around 3 inchs usually)
for stone cladding on a house it needs to be cut stone, same for slabs (used in patios and footpaths) cut stone can also be used for actual house walls (exterior and interior) garden walls, and a great many other things.
what tealon is on about is in fact gravel, which can come in different sizes, this is know as gradeing, the higher the grade the bigger the pebbles. do not confuse gravel with crused rock, it is a totaly different material. btw i have worked in the building industry for almost 30 years.

Jig - howd u no so much about masonary kinds stuff?

should have looked at the link first, thats a masons cutter (the bastards are to lazy to use a hammer and chisle these days) all the stone cut from that machine would be used for walls, slabs, and also statues. (such as the type you`d see on a church or catedarel) what exactly is it you need to know about quarrys?

We don’t, the business comes to us, we do not actively seek out anything of this machine as demand can exceed supply.

That is for quarries that have this type of machine, but quarries that do not, i would ask why they wouldnt need one, and what it would need to do to make it justifiable for them to get it

How much of the Statistics side do you need, i've previously down some and am continueing it this year, though not really what a would call hard core Statistics.

What exactly do you want to prove or find out about using statistics?
