I always thought tribbles were a vermin type creature a bit like rats that spread to other planets much like rats would on ships.
Funny that they have their own planet. Its in Klingon space that would explain why the klingons hate them so much maybe they had problems conquering the tribles.

Rat thing? How could you call the ever-so-cute Tribble a rat?
Actually, I get your point now...
Trials and Tribble-ations was a brilliant episode, I loved the way they put so much history into that episode, and they even mentioned about the Klingon head-ridges in there as well!
I liked the bit where Jadzia said about how she loved the (60's style) finishing of her Tricorder. How many shows that do time travel episodes can say they have that sort of thing in them?

Tribble Prime... if I got there I'd turn it into the biggest all-you-can-eat barbeque restaurant in the quadrent.
Actualy now that im talking about it, I've reminded myself of Forest Gump.
Fried tribble, baked tribble, steamed trible, tribble scampy...

You ever thought there may be a use for them without killing them! sell them as pets! or to diffrent planets as food! Im going to set up the PTA (protect the tribble acossiation)
Here some ways of makeing use of tribbles without killing them (SEV TREK)
Thanks MOE

sell em for food without killing them?!? *shudder* i dread to think how you'd accomplish that, quark had the right idea, fur n stew!. I seem to remember a toy in the 90's that looked like a hanging tribble that used to laugh and vibrate.
