So Australia has just qualified for the World Cup Finals next year in Germany. Hell yes. Even if we go crap it doesnt matter, the win against Uraguay tonight felt awesome. It was the most exciting piece of TV I have watched since the Ashes Test which we lost by 4 runs, and more exciting than anything for ages before that. Anyways I know its not Trek related, but since its the first time we have been to the World Cup for 30 odd years, I think its worth a thread.

Cricket? wtf? lmfao! etc. needs improving by 1) make all the players dress as disney characters 2) replace the cricket ball with a tribble 3) randomly mine the field 4) make female streakers compulsary and sometimes in groups 4) stop refering to the players as "athletes", I played cricket, they are about as atletic as your average dart player wtg Austrailia. its about time! i cant wait to you guys over here :lol: |

well you obviously didnt play a decent level of cricket then. how many games go for at least 6 hours a day in the summer sun? that takes athleticism. |

Congrats..! Australie will be one of the underdogs, perhaps they will do a stunt like Greece or Denmark? Anyway we all know that holland will win, right? (is about time)... |
