Because you can't pick it up in the stores anymore, I bought mine on Ebay. It cost met $55 dollars. It was well worth it, but it cost me. |

Yeah, but just think if they try to play it on an XP system and they don't know that you can get patches... 8O That'll hurt them!

normally you go to google, type in: botf xp fix. You get a bunch of page results, you go to one of the first pages, and there you have it. A xp fix  . pretty standart...

Yeah, but if you buy a game, then try to install and play it and find nothing happens, you'll probably think the game disk is broken or something - and as Billy said, not everyone would think of looking for fixes... 
I have a weird disk with a similarish problem. It plays fine, but it simply won't install. I have to borrow my friends disk every time I want to reinstall it. There aren't any obvious scratches other than the usual wear and tear on it either...

No, the eye rolling was aimed at the idiots of the world, Billy. I'm assuming you're not one of them?
... Adm_Willie, the game I was refering to was Cleopatra: Queen of the Nile. It's the expansion pack for Pharaoh, which incidentally has no problems installing or playing. It physically won't install though. It's not the fact that it stops, its the fact it doesn't start installing in the first place, even when I open up 'my computer'.
What game do you have problems with? |
