Quote: the good thing is i have learned patience from dial-up You'll soon learn to forget about that little virtue. Broadband is a blessing! So what kind of speed is your Broadband connection now? Mine is 2Mb, (2272kb upstream, 288kn downstream) although I might be getting a free upgrade to 8Mb in April. I just hope it isn't on April the 1st... |

Broadband is a whore, it takes up more time she is greedy and makes u spend less time with ur mates. Better off being with old slow dial up hehe. |

I have a Plusnet Premier account. I have to agree with you about her taking up all my time, but seeing as all my mates are online, (I love you guys ) I don't consider it a problem... |

im on 24000/1000, my mates who have it have got speeds of up to 2 meg a second on the really good servers. i havent got anything like that yet. its depends on a whole bunch of things, and my mate is almost across the road from the phone exchange, so that helps. i have got about 700 kB/sec max atm. i have a 10 gig cap, with an extra 10 gig from special servers (gaming and files) all for $39.95 a month. which is only a little bit more that we were paying for dial-up, inc phone calls and ****. |

I have a 100 gig limit per month, plus 20 gig of "clean" p2p download bandwidth. If I go over the limit, then I get my download speeds cut, but they reset at the start of the next month, so it doesn't matter too much. I've never gone over the limits yet though, although I can never tell with the p2p limits. They aren't (Currently) listed in a separate section of my bandwidth usage. |
