Colour of the Keldon is good and should be the basis for all Cardassian ships. Good shape too. Well done.

It's Brown, not Yellow!
Nice one Jig, but I thought 'Strike Cruisers' had been done away with?

Good ship. I'm sure she'll be the last sight of many a Romulan commander.

Looks like a light cruiser to me. Might be an escort as well.

If you dont go with ftranschel's suggestion of a light cruiser or escort, perhaps it could be a heavy cruiser, or the Cardassian equivalent of an explorer (I dont mean a scout by that ). As far as names, pick the ships designation, and I'll see if a name doesnt jump to mind.
Edit: also, do you have a particular 'era' in mind that the ship will be in (TOS,TNG, etc...). It looks like it would be somewhere around or after TNG times to me.

No, I don't agree Rigel: We have the three heavy cruisers:
- Galor (medium cruiser, the prefered cardassion ship)
- Ranor (Ãœber-class explorer, seen in ultimate mod)
- Keldon (heavy cruiser, it's basically an upgraded galor)
Thus, in my opinion it *should* be smaller as we have a recognizable sleek backbone of smaller cardassion ships apart from the famous Hideki.

No, that's something I would not like as it's primary hull is geometrically similar to an Intrepid

Just because it kind oflooks lke an Intrepid, is no reason not to use it as a Card equivalent.

To me it sorta could be if tweaked a tiny bit, a sorta cross between a definat/interpid varient but like the cardy version.

I think that's a good idea, Janusi.
If it was the predecessor to the Hideki, you'd see the design lineage then. They have a similar front section, the same 'backbone', and they also have the circle on top.
However, the Hideki has a more streamlined engineering section, with larger Warp Nacelles.
...
I like it when the ships suggest design lineages, especially for the other races, since the Federation obviously has so many.
Good work, Jig.

Great Job! I see it as a destroyer and as Janussi specualted a possible predecessor to the Hideki

You speak of aft launchers... does it actually mean firing arcs is in?

Those last 2 Cardassian ships are gorgeous.
The last one could easily be an Intrepid equivalent.
