For a captain..."realisticly" speaking - the person who has all the skills a real life captain should and allso embodies hte spirit of hte Federation - Picard.

Sisko is just a gorilla in a suit - to agressive and uncontroled.. and a bad actor.
Janeway is a miss perfect wannabe that no sane crew could stand..especialyl not after wasting 20 opportunities to get back home..

Spock and Data as coordination/science officers

Worf as security

Guinan and Troi as counselors

Parris at helm

Captain = Kirk or Spock

Engineering = Scotty ! NO one can fix a ship in the middle of a major battle while tossing a few pints at the same time the way he can.

Helm = Data. hand/eye speed, enough said.

Science = Dax, with 1 million years of experience. Think about it.

Security = Klingon / Cardiassion mix. Precise killing machines, yet sutble in approach.

Medical = No question about it Bones. Just something about " Damnit Jim!, I'm a simple counrty doctor not a script writer! " Slays me every time.
