Ok, herees a few Romulan based questions.
1. What is Romulus' capital city?
2. What do the Romulans call their planet?
With so many Romualn enthusiasts out there, I figure somebody knows the answer.

Capital City = Ki Baratan...
Romulus = Ch'Rihan

Well, I believe you're correct. I know Ki Baratan is correct, and I'm also know I have seen ch'Rihan before as the name for Romulus, but I've also heard of something along the lines of 'Ehriv'fvil' (spelling is probably way off, but thats what I remember it sounding like).
Has anybody else ever heard of that, or am I just going crazy?
Since Jarok didnt ask another evil question , I'll try to keep the ball rolling. What was the name of the Romulan senator who was working with the Remans at the begining of Nemesis? And on that same note, who was the Romulan commander who came to Ent-E's aid in the same movie?

But not close enough for Cardassian government work! They probably have a running chronometer in one of their prisons for political prisoners as a form of torture 8O
"at the tone, the current Cardassian government has been in place for four-hundred eighty-five years, ten months, seven days, three hours, fourteen minutes and thirty seconds........BEEP"

Yeah, the books are a bit drier and sarcastic. They are just pretty fun to read. The movie was pretty true to it, though, so if you liked it, the books might just be for you!
Yeah, I think they were originally supposed to be radio short stories. Then when it was realized that people actually liked them, they were re-published in convenient book form. There are a couple of collections of the entire set, which is what I'm up to now. (on to the last one!!!) 8O

Hitchhiker was actually broadcast on the radio.
Can you remember the 'head' that appeared when they got to the planet Magrathea? Well that actor was either the guy who played Authur in the radio shows, or was the guy who played Authur in the TV shows (Not sure which way round it is, but he definitely played Authur)
They cast him in the films especially to pay homage to the Radio/TV version. In fact, even the music is pretty much the same as on the TV shows...
I definitely would recommend reading the rest of the books though, Mark. It's great how the smallest, most insignificant comment in one book can make a huge difference in the next one. You should also look out for how the description of the Vogon homeworld changes from the first book...
It's a real shame that the writer died before he completed the sixth book (Of the trilogy)

Well enough about good ol hitchiker's, this thread is called BOTF Jeopardy after all. Ill try to keep the ball rolling, but it's hard to come up with questions that I know you guys wont know right away, but here goes.
In the TNG episode The Chase (the episode with 'the secret of life'). At the end, the holographc projection of the alien is played by someone who will recieve an important guest role in a later ST series. Who is it? (I dont really care about their real name, I'm more looking for the role the person eventually played.
No google! ...

He also played a member of some Gamma quad race (cant remember their name though). I dont remember much of the epsode, except that he and Quark were trying (unsuccesfully) to come to a business deal in the Defiant, when she came under attack from Jem Hadar. They got left alone in their room, and sometime during the fight a undetonated torpedo broke into their room.... something like that.
