Romulans as you can proberly guess. im looking forwar to the new ships new cloaking ideas and the real trek map.
Also dominian i would love to play them on the trek map being on my own then pooring through the work hole i think that will be extreamly cool to play.
But also the federation with there new ships and tech being in the centre of it all.
Arg all of them to be honest but romulans more than others. I just liek the way they have good intelligence good ships nice ship designs secretive and unpredictable.

Yeah, the Cardassians are kindda cool. Don't care about anyone else, and just go around enslaving helpless little Bajoran look-alikes + (Think of it as twisted laughter )

ROMULAN RULES!!
Every Intelligent race knows that and when they feel the total wrath of my fleet as I take over 3 systems at a time, All will quake in thier suits! But then again a I also have a fondness for the Klingon Empire, So much like me but a bit weak on patience, However they can be trained to follow the True Romulan way!
Bring on all the newbie players. I.E. Breen ect. Like Custer at little big Horn, They will be wiped out by MY stealth!
Ah Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! *quiet evil laugh*

The other 30% of the time is split between the Cardassians, and the Romulans. I love the efficiency of the Cardassians, and the subjugation of entire systems evokes a certain...evil in me. The Romulan cloak-and-dagger tactics call to me every once in a while - i suppose there is a Romulan in my family somewhere along the line. I can't wait for the new diplomacy options - while my diplomats are giving gifts, my Tal Shiar will be stealing their techs. If knowledge is power...then to be unknown, is to be unconquerable. I have only played as the Klingons once, and that was just so I could have a go at attacking the other races with colony ships! And i've been the Ferengi a couple of times - I love their (Unmodded) raider 2's - they can be a match for a warship, if you're not careful. All-in-all though, I'd say that it's the Romulans that I am most looking forward to playing as in BOTF2. BOTF just didn't do them justice. Now that there are going to be new options, more tactics, and new ways to play, my Tal Shiar will be the envy of the galaxy!
Proof..... A Traitor to the Empire, but ALL WILL Be FORGIVEN, If Matress makes certain amends to the Empire. LMAO!

Truly inspired deception - one which can't be seen afterall...except by trained professionals...
Your weakness for emotional pictography gave you away, however...

Unleash the Birds of war! Havoc will dominate. As the bones of my enemies build in piles, gather round and haggle, for even our masters don't know the webs we weave. One Universe is our battleground! In Time we will smash you down. Invisable transfers, and coded message calls, Hollowed laughter in marbled halls.
Tal Shiar = Looked for cannot be seen, listened for cannot be heard, felt for cannt be touched, We are the wind, the walls, the silence around you. We are everywhere and nowhere. We stand in the shadows of many Suns.

The game is totally open. You could probbly make a Babylon 5 or Stargate mod if you wanted, just like they did with BOTF1.
Hell, you could even create a race from scratch if you wanted!
8472 will only be in the official release as a random event. If people want to create them as a specific race though, that's up to them.
The site will host any modules that people make once the game is released (As long as beople actually submit them to the site, of course)
It will be up to you to decide which modules to download or not.
The only problem, is during multiplayer. You'll need to make sure you've got the exact same mods and everything (Not even "similar" versions of the same race would work) as the people you are playing against.
Gavin may be the God of Programming and all things Electronic, but computers are stupid.

When we talk about only the federation module being released does that mean that all the klingon/romuan etc screen layouts and shiplists will need done or what will we need to do to expand it further??

The "official" release will only have the Federation as being playable.
Subsequent offical mods will be the Klingons, Romulans, and so on, as they are made.
I don't know for definite if they are being made by the programmers or not, but i'm about 90% certain they are. (What would be the point if they didn't?)
I know some of the ships for the other races are being made/have been made anyway, so they should have their own official releases eventually.
The best thing to do would be to send a PM to Gavin (Gturfrey) iwulff, or Jigalypuff. They'll know more about it than me, since they are making it afterall.

Only coz it'll take longer to create the pure power that is our Warbirds...
The Federation is soo weak, the programmers will be able to rush them through. That's why they're coming out first...
We lie in the shadows...waiting for the moment to strike...
Oh? Did I type that out loud?
*Ahem*

Comfort your-self with words, Romulan! For, they are they only thing that will comfort you.
Now, let me ask you Romulans a question. Any one of you seen a little DS9 episode called "Inter arma enim silent leges"...
Or maybe, VOY "Message in a bottle"
Oh, yes. The pure power of warbirds was captured on screen... Let me, guess, they were sabotaged by the Tal Shiar to fool stupid humans
8O.... .... ...... ....
Khm...

We do not need excuses for the loss of ships.
The Centurions on board were at fault, there is no other reason for loosing against an inferior enemy.
Please, tell me more about this "Tak Shiar" 8O

Typo... What typo.... I don't see any typo.... WHAT IS THIS? THE INQUISITION?! 8O (screaming and running in fear)
And you say the Federation dodges things with diplomatic babble... There is more human in Romulans then they car to admit.
Yes, the centurions fault. Centurion of the first warbird. And the second. And the third. And the guy who planed it. And the centurion who did the intel. And the Admirals in Naval Command who approved the plan. Yes, indeed, the fault of centurions. Quite a few of them

its not at all like every time the romulans take on the federation they have there arses kicked, or they retreat.
the romulans couldnt even take out the scimitar. A ship built by slaves.
anyone remember kirk opening a can of woop arse on a cloaked ship.
the romulans are the poor man of the alpha quadrent, they just dont seem to get a break.

, ah, back up!
I just remembered the last time the Roms ALMOST won.
They sorounded Picard... And then the Klingons snuck up behind them. And the Roms lost... so sad, "they just dont seem to get a break"

EXACTLY.. the Frederation could not do it on it's own. They Had to be assissted each time. Such weaknesses should not be BROADCASTED So LOUDLY!!! Shhh silly Federation puppets.... The Ferengi will hear you and take you for a ride as they gouge thier prices for your basic life supplies and services.
Yes I will say Kirk got lucky ONE TIME! against a ship that was if I remember correctly was crippled....
We Romulans sit back in our longe chairs with popcorn and sodas and watch as you bicker and whine with other races about this that and the other thing. We find this most homorus with great enterainment value for us So Carry on as you have.. Whine as you feel it is necassary we dont mind at all. But keep this in mind.. WE do not need assisstance in fighting our battles. For my battle crusers are always ready to take you over at any time. Please keep us entertained.
