see i thought ent changed that. ds9 also was grubby, but vgr was really clean all except for the year of hell, one of my fav episodes.
im not looking forward to the new series of sg1 or Atlantis as I’ve read the spoilers and they look crap. all except for them finding an ancient battleship.

Well I watched Atlantis last night, and I for one thought it was great!
I love Stargate though, so what do you expect?
Wish they'd put Battlestar Galactica on normal telly for me to see though.

Yea they really jacked my chain when they started Galatica then cut us off for 6 months.... It's just now coming back..... Not a good way to have a series....

No, I mean that I haven't seen any of the new Galactica series!
God knows how long it will be before it gets over here...
I watched pretty much all of the original Galactica episodes when I was younger though (It was the first sci-fi show I ever saw - I originally thought that Star Wars had copied Galactica, not the other way round! )
I can't remember much about the various series, but a few weeks ago the Daily Star (A Newspaper) had a bonus DVD with it - it had an episode from Battlestar Galactica, Buck Rogers, and Quantum Leap on it.
The freaky thing is that as soon as I started watching them, I instantly remembered the plots of the episodes and everything! (Baring in mind I hadn't seen any of them in at least 8 years)
Before I put them in, I couldn't have told you a single thing about them!
It's funny how the mind works...
*Edit - i've blessed this site with 1400 wonderful posts. But don't worry - there's more where those came from! *

And we are all thankfull for all 1401 of them so far. Well, most of them Nice job
Ah, my turn to complain...
BS Galactica, Atlantis, StarGate, ah... Never gonna happen in this country of mine, never... I'm lucky I get Star Trek on TV... Just not enough audience in a small country
So when you regret you didn't see some show, just remember, there is a poor sob who's missing it as well

You could probably buy a lot of the seasons of the sci-fi shows like stargate real cheap online by now. I am sure your could pick up a lightly used, dirt cheap set on amazon.com

Yes, but do they work on Croatian DVD/Video players?
What region is Croatia anyway? 8O
Anyway, good luck CVN. It's a shame that you couldn't try Kazaa, but as you know that isn't a good idea with a slow connection.

You do this to me on purpose, don't you... Italy, lol the big boot in the Medditerranian sea. It's west coast faces France, and the Atlantic. It's east coast faces an inclosed sea called the Adriatic Sea. Croatia's coast line is the upper half of that sea. The coast is think and streches on for a while south. The coast is also a part of the cresent moon shape of Croatia. Matress_of_evil wrote: Anyway, good luck CVN. It's getting a bit of a make over soon. To 850Mb/s, so, that might make it a bit easier to handle... A friend of mine is getting a nice quick flat-rate connection, I can ask him.

CVN, are you SURE it is an 850Mb/s connection?
And anyway, I meant what programming region Croatia was - you know, like America is region 1, UK is region 2...
You won't be able to use a disk from a different region - unless you have a multi-region player, of course.

its quite simple to hack a dvd player, most of the 1s i use, the manufacturer has allowed a coede to be typed in to make it multi region.
Whats you dvd player?
just type it in to google with multi region hack at the end and see what happens.....

Or just avoid the trouble and simply buy one?
I'm lucky, the DVD drive on my new computer is multi-region, so I don't have to worry.
Our DVD player's connected to out TV's are not though, so if ever I end up getting a wrong-region DVD, i'll only be able to watch it on my computer.
...
Sorry CVN, I assumed that you would know about the different regions. It is a mistake I won't make with you again.
