As far as i'm aware the ship lists have already been mostly decided. If you want more info PM the administrators (Jigalypuff, Gturfrey et al) or check out the ships for the game thread:
http://www.botfii.armadafleetcommand.co ... opic&t=182
Hope this helps!

Probably because they haven't been designed yet. From what I have heard the game will be downloadable in phases. When first released, you will only be able to play as the federation. As time progresses, there will be additional modules able to download including the other races until they all have been completed. This way we do not have to wait too long in order to be able to play the game.
From what I have head the first version will be downloadable within 2 months

You don't have to. But hence the fed module will be the first finished you maybe would like to do. Of course, you can wait til the romulan playmodule is done and tehn have your first game ^^

the thing im confused about is will this mean the only major empire be the feds?. so u just go about taking on minor races. The other races wont have specific stuctures otherwise?
*edit*

i think that whiel the other 'normal' major races will be included, u can only play the federation- and technically there arent any major/minor labels anymore...minor empires can expand in this too now!

That has to be true! In that case, I wonder. If it aren't the ship models, then what is the reason the game will come out in modules? Is it realy only the music and UI that has to be made for the other races later on??
btw: those models are just GREAT, jig! Keep up the good work!!!

There are ingame sounds as well. And don't forget the random and intel texts, they will be different for each race!

Great models jig, they keep getting better and better. Have you designed the Bug Ship yet (Also Dominion Fighter)?
Get loads of Dominion Ship pics and profiles at http://www.dominionwars.com
Click Enter, then Ship Profiles and then any of the Dominion Ships or any others for that matter

Rofl!!!!! My command structure is the best in the whole of the Romulan Empire. My green comanders can wipe out any Federation fleets sent against them, and thats being uncloaked!!! Just took on 15 crusier II's in my current game, it was not pretty for the Feds. I had forgot about the ship as it sat at an outpost. The Feds took out the outpost and ran away like a girl who got her hair pulled, then came back next turn and got a whoopin!
Battleship huh? (thinking it's more like a rubber dingy! ),
Let me learn how to play online. Then we can dance! lol

Winterhawk7 wrote: My green comanders can wipe out any Federation fleets sent against them, and thats being uncloaked!!! Heh, just met a Romulan fleet. 14 of those UGLY cruisers, 7 Warbirds, and more of those ugly little destroyers than I can count (cirra. 30). All cloaked VS. 13 Defiants... Heh, it was an overkill... The worst casualties were the USS Stargazer and the Alaska. 70% shield damage Btw, it's hard to scrape Romulans of a starship deck Winterhawk7 wrote: The Feds took out the outpostand ran away like a girl who got her hair pulled, then came back next turn and got a whoopin!
Please note in bold, the only true part of this statement. BEFORE you fell asleep and dreamt the rest

I't the AI after all. They always seem to chose the wrong tactics. I'd have taken out at least 7 Defiants the first turn.

Guys, the Romulans fired only the first turn, and then RETREATED. You're right, a human player could have decimated the Defiants... Not 7 in the first volley, though, but decimated. The AI is dumb as sh*t...
Anyway, I just don't like Romulans.

What do you mean "either"
