Hey peeps, I do lots of lurking, but not much posting round here. So I hope this doesn't contravene the advertising policy of the boards.
Just thought I'd share my fanfic while we're all waiting patiently (yes Jiggly, patiently ) for BotF II.
Star Trek: Illustrious
At the time of posting I am writing the seventeenth episode of the first season (eighteen eps per season). If things continue to develop as they are, and I can get the cgi and animation to a sufficient standard, then I'm going to animate this.
But for now, it's a fanfic.
Anyways, I'll post a new story every week (roughly), and any and all feedback is appreciated (although bear in mind, that the writing does get significantly better as I got more practice imo).
Enjoy.

Look at his first post.
The place where you see "Star Trek: Illustrious" in small bold letters is a link to his page

Shame about the Ashes mate. Best game i've ever seen. Should be good when McGrath gets back, then Freddy'll smash them into the stands

Finally...
117 - "Starting Again"
The Illustrious is finally free to begin her mission of exploration. Much to the relief of the Captain and his crew. Meanwhile, political machinations within the upper echelons of Starfleet place Admiral Nechayev's position at risk - an event that could have serious repercussions for the Illustrious.

I'm still tryin to get to the bottom of the list (your new installment) but kids (2 boys) and quiet time at the computer dont exactly go together lol

Took a break from writing today, and whipped up these models - yeah, still thinking about animating this thing - in poser. The uniforms of the Deep Space Project, as worn by the Illustrious crew -
Thoughts?

I like them... more militaristic looking.

Yeah, that is certainly something that the Federation would portray around that period...even if it was unintentional.
I like the fact you've updated the Com badge as well. That would certainly be in keeping with tradition...

UnDated, I think I should appoint you my official motivator
Promised the missus I'd take her out for dinner tonight, otherwise it might have made it up tonight (Sydney time). As it is, it probably won't, and will more likely be up some time tomorrow.

i'm flattered.
although i think my wife might be upset if i was to forego my business to write fanfic.
maybe we should get a J.M. Strazynski type petition going to paramount...
btw - i do list the approximate due date of the next story on the site. and while the stories might occassionally be late, they'll never be posted early.
