Perhaps we ought to have a thread with requests for the Romulan ships?

Although the comment still stands.

Done.
We can always have another thread for other Romulan ships. No offense was intended, I just assumed that perhaps you were trying to get things going on the omulan front coz (As you said) the devs haven't asked for any Romulan ships.
Sorry about that.

@ MOE, thanks and np.
@ Trekboychris. Nope, just designed it on the fly after i did the nose/head section. If it resembles any rom ship then it was by accident.

Actually, thinking about it, it resembled the Kestrel class that I posted up earlier.
Obviously, it is just coincidence though...great minds really do think alike though - or your operatives had prior knowledge.

I was trying to remember all the Romulan classes out of Armada 2
Sounds good Skeeter, what kind of stats can we expect from the Repentor

Hmm.
probably half the shield strength of warbird. About 1/3 of the weapon strength and 1 main plasma torpedo weapon from front and duel distrupters from near nacelles on both sides making it 4 in all. Can reach warp 7 max speed but its cruising speed for normal everyday speed is about warp 5.5
Hows that for stats? Oh and id say its a pre ds9 era type.

I think we all type fast as well!
...
Wouldn't it be better to say it was pre-TNG era?
A weaker, slower, less powerful, (Less advanced?) ship that is in the 'Warbird' design lineage would fit in best at (Or before) the Enterprise-C era.
Unless it is intended for a 'support' role or something along those lines, of course.
They would thus be cheaper to build, so they would be more numerous, and more expendable than a 'true' Warbird then.

I think ill stick to pre DS9 era as mainly all u see in show are warbirds and a shuttle, it doesnt really show u any of the other ships in the fleet as if there anything like feds they have loads of types, so id say make it one of the unseen types. Id like to think of it as a small destroyer probably be the equivelent of a steamrunner from feds.

Hmm...well that era could do with 'padding out', I suppose.
If it matches up with a Steamrunner, (I googled this, but the sites I checked were mainly fanboy) then it is somewhere around a Destroyer designation, however it packs a massive punch for its size.
Since you don't intend it to have the same kind of firepower, what about making it more agile than the Steamrunner?
It doesn't matter that the enemy has more firepower, if they can't hit you! 8O

Unless they use those "gas" detector photons. Has that ship got a tail pipe or not

Medium sized destroyer, it packs a punch to mid sized ships, its not fastest but no means the slowest. This is what i class steamrunner as in my view and is what i reckon my ship would be like.
