Well the 2 im currently playing are:

WOW- World of Warcraft. Pay to play game developed by blizzard based on the popular warcraft series. Its kind of an RPG depending on what server type you pick. You pick a character class rogue, mage warrior etc etc then go out gain level, rank and items and being on a PvP server kill lots of the opposing faction. Its rediculously addictive, the best of its kind and the devs/company dont try to rip their customers off. They actually release patchs whith loads new content and don't charge any more ontop of the monthly fee as opposed to SOE who will vacume your wallet for every KB you download.

Earth 2160- An RTS game. The 3rd in the earth series I believe but the first I have played. Not only are their 4 very differnet sides but you can tailor your own units by choosing what weapons and armour to equip them with. the game really is unique and doesnt have that generic just off the EA factory line feel to it. Its a must for RTS fans, really like nothing else out there. It was released though with some hughe balance issues that pop up in multiplayer inparticular - The Alien team being pretty much unstopable being the biggest one. However a balance patch is already in the works and a beta of it is downloadable and is the most played version online. Its quite complex to get into at first but amazing when you do.The multiplayer community is small but the game hasnt released in america yet. Multiplayer is superb fun when you play someone of about your own skill level.

Other games I have enjoyed but haven't played in a while:
GTA San andreas - Highly addictive at first but I got bored by the time i got to owning my own buissness. Im more of a multiplayer man so I eagerly await the 3rd party multiplayer mod for the game thats currently under development.

LOTR:BFME - Thats Lord of the Rings Battle for middle earth, a mouthful and a half. This game was made by EA which usually means ruined for the sake of money, not much longevity and crap multiplayer support. Well they certainly have crap multiplayer support with NAT and firewall problems galore but the rest of the game is impressive in my view. The graphics are good, it doesnt just feel like a suped up CandC generals trying to imitate LOTR it actually feels like LOTR. There are tactics to, theres no overall I WIN tactic although if you let gandalf get to powerfull its gg.Probably not as good as Earth2160 but has longevity plus number 2 is in the works.

CandC generals/Zero hour; Made by EA as well so im lothed to say I like it. For any one whos playe an RTS before its learning curve runs somewhat parallel to the X axis, completely ignoring the Y and watching paint dry is more interesting that playing the campaing. The simplicity means getting into it is fast. Its fast simple fun online and with the Zero hour add on is a good game in my opinion. It does have deffinate tactics and a good player will soon find they have a single battle plan that requires very little adaptation per map although the ammount of players in the game may make you change your tactics. This particular titel retains credibilty as only one very decent add on was baught out for it. Going by the sims game id have expected Ea to have produce 2 billion and 1 expansions (and going by what im told of the sims, crap ones at that) at £17 each but to their credit they didn't.

Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2
Ok Dungeon keeper 1 was my favorite game for a long time. This is what first got me hating EA, they discontinued the series after they themselves had made a half assed job at number 2. Now the irony is that DK2 wont work on XP but i believe DK1 will. Dungeon kepper was the brain child of Peter Molyneux (i think thats how you spell it) who made other popular and unique games such as populus before he whent and made Black and White which was big on Hype and small on longevity and multiplayer game play. In DK you were veil, you captured and killed/tortured good guys, built lairs for creatures that came to your lair. it was a very unique game. EA got their hands on it when they baught out bulfrog (im pretty sure they baught it out). They took it over and when DK2 came out it really hadn't progressed much from DK1 in terms of game play. My friend actually still prefers DK1 but I find the graphics to outdated for it to be enjoyable.

BOTF - hehe well i dont need to tell you about this one

KK this post is about 5 times longer than i origionally thaught it would be. If any of you play these games and want a match Earth2160 in particular let me know. If you got any other games youw ant to discuss add them to the long list too.

I've got too many games to describe here, as Scatter knows only too well...I told him just how many I had (PC only ) on MSN yesterday!

It took a while to remember them all.

I think you guys can guess what one of them is though.

- FreeSpace 2 (and the port of the first game to the second part's engine).

- Elite Force

- Civ II - Test of Time

- Master of Orion (it certainly makes even more deseases then botf :))

- Max Payne I + II (The best storys in a shooter I'ver ever seen. Luckily it's going to be put in a movie soon!)

- Starlancer

- HL²

- WarCraft III

- Project: Lost Homeworld (it's a MMPOG I'm currently working on with a friend of mine)

Well that list seems pretty long but it's just... I had time to play when I went to school the last 13 years... :)

Elite force was fantastic- very underrated. It definetly made the most of the quake 3 engine and the settings and mission were just absaloute tits (for lack of a better word) Never played elite force 2, any good?

Im also playing navyfield, free (for the moment) downloadable MMORPG ship battle game, lots of fun

That's pretty much exactly mine except i've got a 256mb FX 5500 instead. Its a pretty rubbish Graphics card so then say. I'm thinking of getting a 6600 GT in the near future...if my parents agree

I've played EF2 and its a worthy sequel i can tell you. Its fairly cheap now so if you have a PC with a 1ghz+ Processor then you can run it fine

Well, a few days ago I rented the new Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction game for PS2. And while its nothing spectacular, it is alot of fun. As the title suggests, almost everything in the environments is destructable (includng skyscrappers in the big city level), and almost as many objects can be used as weapons. Its also alot of fun having a huge 'living' city to run around in to either destroy, or do missions in. It reminds me of the city in Spiderman 2 game, and to a lesser extent, the environs in the GTA games.

Hey guys, I am somewhat crestfallen at your choice of games, and then, who am I to judge you at this.

To be judged myself:

CIV
Crusader Kings
HOI
BOTF
MOO
AOW

On rare occation I got addictzed to either:

NWN or
Baldurs Gate

Well they did just ask for whichever games we're playing at the moment. I'm sure if you asked about which games are your favorites, there would be different responses.

Being a broke uni student, I dont have the money to go out and buy new comp games too often (or to get a better comp so I could play half of these games you guys have listed above  ), but I did decide to go out and get myself one of Blockbuster's game rental passes. For a per month fee of $20, it lets me go out and rent a game from Blockbuster, and if I dont like it, I can return it that day, and rent something else, and if I do like it, I can hold onto it as long as I want. Because of that I usually have a different game every week.

Yesterday I rented X-Men Legends II. Very good game so far. Its an action RPG (think Baulders Gate : Dark Alliance 1&2, or Everquests Champions of Norath), except with the X-Men. Lot of fun if your a fan of X-Men.
