Sorry to hear about Gavin's loss, can't complain as I happened to find the game on the intended release of demo anyway.

Maybe we could have little updates on how big the delay is, and how is it going

Maybe this could be more of an official demo thread, there seem to be a few that go half way but not all the way

Cheers

Demo released when gavin says so, and when he lets us know he lets us know!

Coopa has a point, this game is surely bigger than one person. We all naturally feel for Gavin at this difficult time, but surely with the demo in testing stages up to last nite and things pretty much on track, cannot someone else take over the small tweaking of the demo to take any pressure off Gavin to get started agian.

It is true that there should be no pressure at all on Gavin to get this demo finished, cannot someone else cross the T's and dot the eyes to ensure the demo is released?

Depends who we can get hold of at short notice, maybe it was only Gavin and Jig ( i don't know) working on the Demo release.

Well considering Gavin seems to have done most of the ground work, and i can't tell who else has actually done some of the coding?

We know the likes of Jigaly, Skeeter and others made models for the game,

Smiffgigs, skeeter, and others contributed to the Art, and sounds of the game,

Daferdz and Iwulff seemed to do alot of the Database and general information legwork, collection of data, compiling it etc

So perhaps Dafedz, Jigaly others who i should have mentioned but i haven't been here long enough to have a clue :D

If i missed someone out, which i inevitably did, i apologise.

Speeduk, i stepped over the line. I'd hate to see the same thing happen to someone else. The Demo will be released when it's ready, not before.

Hmm... I think it is enthusiasm... Can't blame them... :o I was a bit to happy bout the release date too... and I also got inpatience.... I totally forgot bout time diference. .. I understand that it is pissing you off greatly... but I also understand the people... who ain't helping in making botf2 (including me)... .... a short conlcusion: We just need to have patience... even when it is going to take some weeks... we just need to have patience... en lett the creators do what they have to do.. so they dont have to bother much time on replying to everyone that it is gonna take some more time... :D

There is allready a very active demo thread i would suggest mods close this one or move this into other one. Keep things more simple that way..

I have respect. I am just VERY excited about this game because it could quite easily be my fave ever PC game. Sorry if my comments have offended anyone.

Yes it was a joke aimed at lightening the mood around here a bit but it back fired.

At the end of the day I am only here for the game and to share my enthusiasm with everyone else.

Edit: The hostility toward me was unnecessary imo. :?

Jeez Zach sorry man, to be honest having listened fully through the interview it gets a lot better. I was only commenting on the first 4mins of it. I'll get Jig to delete my post if you want. I wasn't referring to your voice by the way. Sorry if i offended you. TrekBoy

I'll give the whole thing 8/10. Good Job

Hey Skeeter, can we drop the subject now. I've apologised to Zach and by 20 minutes of the Interview i wanted to hack into Gavin's PC and get a copy of BOTF II on it. Sounds great

Zach, you lucky........inside access to BOTF II  Will you post any stuff on this site?
