Some of the Episodes in Enterprise were top-drawer. The cast was excellent aswell. I still can't believe that the rating had plumeted AND that they're thinking of making another Trek series. Why not pool that money into making an improved Enterprise. Take out the Finale and they're you have it the oportunity to add in 2 or 3 more seasons of good drama

this won`t happen because the fans are basicly a shower of tossers, it`s not cannon it`s crap they wail, and then have the cheek to winge "no more trek on tv" just because it messed with the timeline. it`s a tv show people they can always write an episode which puts it back on track you know.

i watched it every week when it came on, and even most of the repeats.. I would have liked to see the start of the romulan war, then that carry over to a movie with the ending being the formation of the federation.

Rather than ohh the Federation has been founded, The Romulan war would have been an interesting conflict to screen. Maybe thats what Star Trek XI is about?

Ever heard of the edit button?
As I said, Voyager is better than TNG. No doubt about it. You guys must have your wire crossed or something...

Janeway would be the best Captain, when it comes to getting a ship back that is 70,000 lightyears off course!
Could you seriously imagine Picard or Kirk getting their ship back?
Kirk would probably end up destroying his Warp drive and Picard would probably end up creating a new Federation on the way back. He'd then die an old man during negotiations wishing he'd actually tried to get home.
And Sisko would probably have had the sense to head straight for the Gamma Quadrant and search for the opposite end of the Wormhole. It would certainly have been a shorter journey - If you can find the entrance of the Wormhole.
The only problem is would even the Defiant manage to get past the entire Dominion? I think not. There are times when diplomacy wrks better than fighting, but having an unofficial warship helps.

given that it was her fault they were stranded there in the first place, that's hardly a ringing endorsement.

How can getting caught by an alien being be her fault?
Or do you mean destroying the Caretaker array? In which case, if you were a Starfleet Officer with any integrity, you'd have likely done the same!

Not in a billion years buddy. I'd think of my crew first and foremost.
Some hokey pokey alien strands me on the other side of the galaxy to suit his own needs (it was looking for a replacement remember), and then begs me to protect the poor little ocompa... ookums...
I would have come to an agreement with the Kazon - remember they were absolutely amazed at a few tanks of water ffs - to raid the caretakers array for what I needed and left the rest to them.
If I really wanted to be sympathetic to the ocompans (which I probably would have been) I would have destroyed the array AFTER I got the computer piece i needed to send me home!!!
Janeway, being a moron, thought it would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more noble to just blow the whole thing up and take one up the ass for the ocompans. a race that weren't exactly forthcoming with their help for the sick b'elanna and harry kim...

QmniQ, i can't really comment on TOS, as i haven't seen any of it, apart from a few teasers. Some of the Episodes looked pretty good, but its unfair to compare them with the others as its comming up towards 40 years old.
Saying that TNG is nearly 20

one of the reasons i liked tos is that it worked on some problems in society at the time like racial tolerance etc. and were groundbreaking at the time (although i wasn't even around then, only watched them in the late 1990s)
when you think of what the budget and the times(60s) were, it was very good for it's time

Tie- DS9-Enterprise
2- TNG
3- Voy
4- TOS- I'll say what others won't say, aside for 20 0r so great first season episodes, this series sucks beyond belief. The movies, were great especially The Wrath of Khan

All the series from TNG to ENT were good in their own ways, i have never seen TOS so can't comment on it.
VOY is my fav series, followed closely by DS9, ENT and TNG.
All the movies were good too, but First Contact is my utmost favorite trek film. Nemesis close behind (though not happy about Data being killed) and Insurrection.

I loved DS9! Finaly some war, some shooting and for once, not ALL of the moral debates were over the Prime Directive.
Maybe more then the fight scenes (which were freakin' spectacular ) I enjoyed episodes like In the Pale Moonlight where Sisko is forced to put aside everything the Federation represents to save everything that the Federation is by helping to assasinate a Romulan senator. The Visitor, with the best storytelling I've seen in Trek.
So many good episodes and plots... It's really the best

Fight scenes in VOY... Year of Hell was nice, a few Borgs kicked then and there... and Message in a Bottle (Promie... )
I'd say DS9 fight scenes were far more spectacular... DS9, retake DS9, Cardassia, Chin'Toka,...
