I'll give you three guesses who did it...
Actually, scratch that, you should be able to do it in one...

I got a big shock when I saw the results until I read the thread. Enterprise was poor until about halfway through season 3 and then they decided to make season 4 its last one it went back to being poor again.
Got to agree it takes the piss out of the other series by having photon torpedoes and reliable transporters (for the most part).
Edit: But when it got good in season 3 it was VERY good and should have gone on a lot longer than what it did.

Shifting the focus off the Pink One and ENT (you can thank me later, Jig), I agree with those that say DS9 was the best series although TNG characters I feel the most at home with. They feel like old friends when I catch an episode. It really got better after the first few years.
FYI: here's a rule of thumb for TNG episodes. If you see the uniforms with collars, then it's probably going to be pretty good. If there's no collars then it's an early episode and will probably be lacking.

Regarding TNG, they do have a cosey, disfunctional family feeling...
Picard, the stuck up pater familias
Riker, the retared cousin
Data (my all time favourite character), the unaddapted brain
Wesley, the guy to blame for everything, and occasionaly throw out the airlock...
One big happy family
I did realy like TNG, especialy Picard and Data. They both had character, in my oppinion!

I really like Data once the high collars come onto the scene. The first few years he was always awkward and bugged me a lot. But once the magical high collars make their appearance Data gets a hair cut and is the Data we know and love.
Honestly, the high collars are magic. Everything on TNG got better once the high collars made their appearance.

According to the actors, those original TNG uniforms were very uncomfortable. I believe I remember reading they were all one piece jumpsuits, and were made out of wool.
BTW, with the new uniforms, we start to see the Piard maneuver.

I just added that last little line in. But I hate seeing the little edit tihing at the bottom, after I go back to fix a little spelling error, or add something small.
I guess its just a weird little posting pet peev.

Na, i'm like that as well!
I bet you don't notice all the spelling mistakes I make when i type - well that's coz I constantly edit them!
Oh, and I read the uniforms were made out of wool as well, Rigel!
Apparently though, Kate Mulgrew (Janeway) never wanted to get out of her uniform because she found hers so comfortable!
