last time i say this. no advertiseing.

i wasnt just thought people might want one i get rid of it for you jig if its going to cause offence but only wanted to tell people were they get em not advertiseing for the site or anything!

it`s not a case of giving offence, it`s the forum rules. i`ll let it go as i suppose some people here would like new skins for their media players.

What exactly counts as advertising on the forum Jig?
We've been "advertising" Scatter's Illustrious stories and no one has said anything (I'm not getting at Scatter, i think his stories are brilliant. I'm just making a point)

and a skin is a function you can use on windows media player so it dont look like main screen and it gets smaller!

if you donwload it just go to view>>> skin mode and i should work!

When I read Janusi's question, I sent him a PM explaining how to download/install the skins.

Since he hasn't read it yet, and Jig is sparing this thread from his wrath, this is the explanation I sent him:

To install the skins, you must first make sure you have Media Player 7 or better. The skins are incompatible with older versions of Media Player.

Download the file you want, then open it with Winzip/Winrar or whatever extractor program you happen to use.

Extract the file(s) to C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\Skins (If you installed media player to a different location, or have a different drive letter, change it as needed)

Open Media Player, and click on 'view', then 'skin chooser'.

Select the skin you downloaded, then click on apply.

If the skin isn't listed, then it's because something has gone wrong. Make sure the folder that contains the new skin is in the skins folder of Media Player, or try updating Media Player, just in case.

If that still doesn't work...sorry, but I can't help you!

I deleted it once I realised it was ok to post here - I pretty much copied and pasted my last post from that PM, so there wasn't any point in you reading it twice.

I did a quick google, and i couldn't find you any skins. Sorry, Janusi, but it looks like you'll either have to download the english version, or have to survive without them!

i have allowed this as it is trek related.

sorry its caused more truble than its worth next time i just think more lol but enjoy the skins if you can get em there ace!
