the reason all aliens are similer looking ot us is the following.
Opposeing digit on hands, allows the manipulation of tools. no opposeing digit, no way your gonna build anything.
bipedial. The ability to walk upright allows you to see further that a quadraped, thus your species will not get eaten as often and will expand. this also allows you along with your opposeing digit to bash the brains out of any quadrepad who happens across your path.
Eyes front, kinda obivous, all predators have forward faceing vision, whilst prey (anything else that moves) has eyes on the side of the head.
this is why aliens will more or less lokk like us. i have seen some in trek which quite simply defy belief, like the ones in voyager who slept and attacked the crew in their dreams. come on, how the hell do they eat? do they sleep in their own crap? and there are others far to numerous to mention.

That was the stupedest thing I've ever seen. That and the alien chick Bashir had eyes on, the one that evolved on a planet that had zero gee, (ok....) yet had 2 arms and 2 legs.

my scanner i got for 8 bucks at a thanksgivings sale years ago at three in the morning. That broke, so i converted it to a computer light. If my avatar was me, I would have to be dead for 60 years!

Do i look dark? lol. I think most of the pictures are taken inside boys rooms, and they are normaly quite dark in colour!

since im one of youngest (Rebbcca!) i guss im a boy lol and my room is always dark even in daytime i have rely good curtains stop it (ands its black)! This is all because natural light burns my skin lol
