I’m trying to organize a large 4/5 player game for this weekend, starting on Friday and continuing on as needed.

It’s my intention to do this at MSN Zone as the connection will be much more stable.

I’m not fussed what tech we play at, but in the interests of a nice long game I suggest the following.

T1
Large
Some/None
No random
Irregular

If people want to play teams or free for all I’m not fussed. If someone dominates the game and it ends quickly we can start another, no problems.

These are just my suggestions, I’ll go with consensus.

My MSN ZONE handle is icedg_2, you can add me to your friends list and PM me when your on.

Let me know if your up for it, players of all skill welcome…

Of course yes,

The date is Friday 14th October @ from 18:00hrs GMT.

Given time zones and people finishing work etc we might not start straight away, so i'm giving an early start time to refelct that. 1 vs 1's and chat can pass the time while we wait for a group to form.

I would say we should go on a first come first served basis. As soon as we have a group we'll lauch, if someone else arrives they can start a new room or wait for us to finish. Vets of the Zone will know its easy to pick a game up there if you are willing to wait for a while.

Hmmm...I'm fairly certain I am on the direct opposite side of the planet as you guys. Noon for you is midnight for me. Right now the sun is shinning down on California at 11AM, and the forum default says that it's...yes, 11PM. That's okay though, I'm not sure I could survive against Humans at the moment. Havn't actually play in months, if not years.

I'm hoping that if we get enough people interested we will have groups meeting up at different times.

I will be on all weekend aside from when sleeping (No social engagements for the first time in 6 months!) I'm nostalgic for the old days when the Zone was hammered with a dozen rooms packed with BOTF players! (Not to mention the numerous clans, RSA anyone??)

Anyone have any suggestions as to how we should play??

I would say log in anyway, a few people have said similar things and i reckon that as long as one person keeps a room open you'll get a game eventually.

18:00hrs GMT, thats 6:00pm UK time.

But TBH, it can be any time, i'm going to host a room at that time but if people are early or late they can just start another room of there own.

It's never easy with time differences.

I've gained allot of valuable experience the last two weekends, I’ve learned a great deal about playing at 'impossible' level.

I shall be sticking around at the Zone, if anyone ever wants a game just give me a shout.

Hi all,

I would not mind having a game of BOTF online if anyones up for it. I have never played online before however so I will need some intructions on how to set it up, what mods, patches I need etc.

you need the:

1.02 patch
XP (only if you have windows XP) patch
tactical update

but then it still may not work for you. in which ill have to point you at my nice manual on how to make it work.
