just to let you know we will be useing g-max format for ingame ships. it is free so if you want to use that go ahead. it will alos import .3ds files so no worrys there either.

Texturing is such slow and time consuming work...............lol but im hoping that it will be worth while when im all done

yeah im really happy with it:) i got the whole top texture done last night so that picture is a little out of date, hopping to start on the bottom half soon

Btw a note, milkshape unregistered can only save 30 times i think or is a 30 day trial. Unless...

dont worry guys im still working on it, had alot of personal matters to attend to, funeral, work , morgage ......so sorry there has been very little activity on my part... i should finish this weekend, then i will post it and get it to jig:)

youve still been working more than I have. I've worked almost none on it since i posted the last screen! Luckily, ill be able to work on it in 2 weeks for around 50 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Thats when my formal 3D classes start. This ship was just to show the instructor what I already know.

export as .3ds and send it to me again, i do not use milkshape nor do i have the pulgins for max or uu3d to open a ms3d file.

Best to check to see whats done, no point doing models thats done allready. Unless its just for personal reasons if so then gluck with ur next one

could one of the moderators clear out this thread maybe keeping only esential stuff in a dom ship therad, then i can start another tread for my enterprise era scout:)
