Whenever a new starship mod is created by a modder, the greatest challenge is getting the Phasers to actually work.
To my knowledge, NO-ONE has managed to get the Phasers to work on new classes of ship. Not even Dafedz or Jigalypuff have managed it yet! 
If you download any mods for BOTF1 that contain extra models, you will only be able to use the Torpedoes, regardless of how many Beam weapons the ship is supposed to have. They simply do not fire. Since Gavin is programming BOTF2 from scratch however, there shouldn't be any problems like this.  |
