yes it is possible that X-box live will provide problems BUT the chance is very unlikely. Why would Microsoft put a product on the market that wouldn't work for half of the time. Now i'm not a pro about xbox-live but it sounds more like fanboyisch trouble makers to me. Now there are always people that are having problems with technology. But it would be better to inform you on a xbox forum, but you might be lucky if some botf2 user has experience with this.
btw I actually don't like the xbox i hate it for stealing RARE! so i'm not a fanboy (i think...)

I have live for my 360, have not had any problems, and absolutely love it. Most of the problems I have heard of involve problems with wireless routers. If you plan to use a wireless router, I would strongly recommend checking out
If you already have a router, definitely try that first. But if you have problems or are looking to buy one, refer to this list. Also notice that many of the routers may need firmware updates to work properly with Live.
Hope this helps.

i have a 120gb hd - and the only reason I got one that big is for movies.
i got in the habit of ripping and compressing my movies. I have perfected it to getting a full length DVD down to 1000(or so)mb. Thats with virtually NO quality change. I cant tell the difference between my version and the dvd, other than its far easier to use, and there are no skips.
