Yeah, all the colonies were in the same system. Moore thought it was a little off the wall too, but kept it only because thats the way it was in the original show.

MOE: If you haven't seen FireFly, then yeah, I second his opinion: give it a try some time. Good way to kill a few hours! And the movie wasn't so bad. Sort of something only fans would really get in to, but that would assumably include you once you finished the first season.

i seen all 1 and up to Ressurection ship in season 2 which is basicly all of it

way better than any star trek series ive seen. no mindless technobable or prime directive BS, I hope fans don't start cutting it down over a line someone may have said 10 ep back conflicting with something else, that kinda crap just takes the fun away . BSG is simple, yet complicated and far more entertaining than all ST shows I've ever seen. I like watching a show in sci fi thtas giving us a good glimpse of ourselves, the good the bad the ugly, and there are no heroes, this is refreshing. Having said that, Enterprise is still my fav trek show (I miss it dearly), but it pales incomparison to this fine show. Good Job Ron Moore!!!!

I am now an experat at BSG i have watched every episode ever made (new ones) and am on the ball wooooo its been a rely good series this one not as good as first but still very good
