I wonder if the guy secretly hid a Mek'leth in his pocket?
You could try making one of those as a start project, General. then, when you're ready, you could move onto the Bat'leth.
Seeing as it'll be a labour of love, you'll want to do it right...and this way you'll have the whole set.

See, stuff like that is one of the good points of the US. This is just one of the many swords and daggers I have in my collection.

It's funny that they sharpened it. I wonder what they were planning.

Actually, my dad is a licensed arms dealer, although he mainly only uses the license for his own collector's interest. You can buy almost everything he and I both have, but it's a lot more expensive without a dealer's discount. I have daggers and swords I paid about $20-50 for each selling for over $100 in stores.

Just make sure you keep them in a safe place then. You wouldn't want your finger printsts end up on anything. btw, Ritter if (as in your case your dad's) an arms dealer do you have to be 18 to own one as a souveneir or in a personal collection?

Welllllll, Chris, it's impossible to give a blanket answer. I'm not sure which country you're from, but here in the US the legal right to different weapons is largely decided by the state you reside in, sometimes even city/county ordinances. Even then, though, it's not necessarily a crime to own something, but shipping it can be a crime. Because of different state laws, certain items can't be shipped to certain states (mainly Maine and California), but if you were to move to one of these states already owning the weapon, or even buy one while out of state and bring it home fully packaged, that's fine. The laws can get screwy, and I'm not gonna go any further into them because it'll just make my head hurt.
As far as age, I got my first and favorite dagger (ironically, it's called the Warbird dagger) when I was around 14 or 15. To the extent of my knowledge, you don't have to be any certain age to OWN one, but you do have to be a certain age to BUY one. Actually, I think the legal age to buy is 21, but I don't recall for sure since I always had my dad buy the stuff, and he's been over 21 for some time. Even if it is 21, the age requirement could vary by state.
