I've noticed how bitchy they are on the X-Wars forums as well. They haven't got constructive attitudes at all. Whilst I understand the reasoning, (I get annoyed on these forums myself sometimes! ) I think they should be a lot more patient than they currently are.

Oh and thanks for telling me about finding out about planet classes, I had no idea, but it seems a little tedious. Scanned about 5 and there ALL class M! Think i only have to level up something twice to open up kolonization! didnt even occur to me to try and open it. been concentrating on over stuff.

Oh and i would definatly recomend mulitple constructions. Really handy, although it does get worse in my experience, and leveling it up takes ALOT of resources, so its getting pretty pointless now.

I do think it's kind of odd that there are so many M-class planets--at least 4 in my tiny little seven planet system--but I'm sure this is to accomodate the fact that every new player has to start on an M-class main planet. It sounds like I might have gotten lucky, though, as I have both an R and T in my system without anyone to compete with. I gotta admit, though, after reaching some of the higher levels I don't think I'd quickly reject an X or O type with their considerable boosts to iron production and average of 15-20% penalty to virtually everything else.

Honestly, I don't know if the hostility is entirely intended since this is a game originally developed by people for whom English is a second language, and I do understand that answering the same questions over and over again can be annoying, but there certainly seems to be a lot of negativity there which the moderators don't seem to be addressing. It's really not hard to ignore a question someone's asked if you don't want to answer it. I get the impression most of them are probably geeks who grew up with only a computer for a friend, and now they've decided to reverse the bully role in an attempt to become the oppressor which they feared...blah blah blah, more psychology stuff.

This game would be even more cooler if it was based on startrek

I'm starting to think I should have upgraded my mines alot more before buying other stuff, seems I'm gonna need alot of Iron.

I just built a Fusion Power Plant, so i'm a bit low now.

Terrab's sent another fleet (He attacked me five times last night!) so i'm gonna trade the resources over. When that's done, i'll send resources to anyone that needs some.

It's getting annoying checking where everyone is, so i'm gonna add people's locations to this post for reference purposes. It'll make trade between us easier.

Hey guis what is with ''Your login session has expired!''. I would understand if they kick me out at regular intervals of time but it some times happen after 5 min and some time after an hour or so.

its a ploy to try and get you to upgrade your account by paying so much a month, i find it aint that much of a problem to me

Anty, it's pretty much as raiden said. Every time you log in, you have a certain amount of time that you are "allowed" to be logged in. If you see it happen again, just log in.

Don't bother upgrading your account - paying just slightly increases the amount of time you're allowed to play for. It doesn't remove the limits altogether!

raiden_rse: one thing i've been meaning to ask is how do you get a fraction? Ive noticed on both accounts you have one, and was wondering how you got it and does it make any difference?

Yes, joining a faction does make a difference, and no, we can't join one.

You have seven days to choose a faction from when you sign up for the game - so obviously we're too late to sign up.

There are seven factions that you can choose from - Ajuvar, Trading Guild, Confederation, Fraternity of Bolos, Rokhar, Terran League, and Space Pirates.

Each faction has it's own unique advantages and disadvantages, for example Ajuvar have defensive bonuses, a Plasma bonus, a Biological weapons bonus, and an Antimatter bonus. However, they have weak Projectiles, Rays and Missiles.

Different factions have different trade relations as well, for example, Ajuvar get a bonus when trading with other Ajuvar, Trading Guild, Confederation, or Terran league players. However, they have weak trade relations with Fraternity of Bolos players, and are completely unable to trade with Rokhar or Space Pirates players.

The bonuses and disadvantages of being with a faction are supposed to work in relation to the bonuses and disadvantages that you get depending on the race you selected as well. These bonuses and disadvantages can be found Here.

I learnt all this when I was speaking to Raiden on MSN last night, in fact. Sorry I disappeared by the way Raiden, computer crashed.

*Edit - i've finally sent a message to Thor_Asgard about the non-attack pact. Seeing as i've waited 4 days for the final 3 people to vote, (And they still haven't! ) and 80% of the vote was for a non-attack pact, I thought it was best just to let him know the results.

HOWEVER, when I checked my outbox, there was no trace of the message!

I couldn't be bothered to rewrite the full email, so I just notified Crichton with my other account that it might have been "lost in the post".

It's wierd really, coz I wasn't able to post in their forums to answer the thread again. It's almost like we're cursed or something... 8O
