at this point in time there are several botf2 being developed on this site. There isno release date as it is fan based but will be available for download in the 'downloads' section. At the moment 3 games are in development:
1. New Beginnings by Jig
2. Supremecy by mstrobel
3. Gavins game (thats not the title )
you will find all the information aout these games in the relevant forums.

Don't think so Gav, im sure you had another name in mind. Jig named his as "New Beginings" when he started his when you left to differenciate from your game. I could be wrong but i dont think i am.

Woudn't that mean swapping the forums round though?
And then we'd have to explain it all to the whole community. Everyone has gotten used to Jig's game being "New Beginnings". Seriously, I think it would just be easier for you - and the community as a whole - to make a new name, Gavin.

I always liked the suggested working title 'Rebirth of the Federation'. One project could take it as it seems to be forgotten..

Rebirth of the Federation is a cool name. I actually thought that was what the original BOTF2 (AKA Gavin's game) was gonna be called When I First Posted on the forums! Luckily SonOfMogh told me otherwise...
Actually, is he off on another spiritual slaughtering of Jem'Hadar? This would be the seventh time or something now, wouldn't it?

You're referring to one of the previous BOTF2 attempts, right, Dadedz?

what the hell is going on? three games now?
Am i the only person who thinks its tupid having individual teamsworking on three seperate games, instead of everyone on ONE kiss ass game. It would be allot quicker, allot better and best overall!
Whats all this seperate game crap? whoever is invovled should forget thier stuborness or pride or whatever it is and group everyone on ONE game for all.

@carrot this is the reason why we have seperate games.
gav has probs and vanishs
i after a few weeks of no contact decide to do it myself, i go and buy an engine and begin to code.
mstrobel who had contacted me quite some time before said he wanted to d oit and had the framework in place,
i said fine, go for it, yet at the same time my exact words were these.
this game will happen
even do i need to learn to caode myself it will happen.
my name is involved in this and has been fron the start, i prefer to keep my good name intact,
there is stil only two projectx under way here, mstrobels and gavins.
i have spoken to him on the phone and i do feel he is capable of finishing what he started.

It'd be more possible than it would have been with Jig's game, if Gavin is developing the game in VB.NET as Jig has said in the past. I'm develoing ST:Supremacy in C#, but all .NET languages are pretty much interchangable. Even so, I still don't see a merger happening, though I am thinking about taking on a couple additional programmers.

I'm all for sharing resources and ideas. I'm open to sharing code as well. We're all working towards the same goals here.
