This is the first i've heard of "Canada day".
You can tell i'm not Canadian.
I've got some relatives who are on holiday in Toronto at the moment. They might be celebrating along with you, draidus. Anyways, welcome to the site!

lol, so Skeeter....the only things you know of Canada are what the Americans have told you through a satirical/parodical cartoon?
Sad man, just sad

Very clean and tidy people? Well, I guess I can't find anything more positive to say about them than that. They're a friendly bunch, those Canadians, and they don't really bother anyone. I guess there's not much to say beyond that. Except that they make pretty nice video cards (ATI).

Supposed to be clean and tidy? Pigs are also supposed to be clean and tidy. If only I had a digital camera right now I'd so post a pic of my room

Montreal is one of the cleanest big cities you could ever step foot in. I live in the North Eastern US, but my entire extended family on my mother's side lives in or around the Montreal area (within an hour drive), so I go up there atleast twice a year. Even the "bad" part of Montreal is increadibly clean.
Speaking as a Canadian citizen (I have dual citizenship), I still blame Canada. SOUTH PARK SPEAKS THE TRUTH!!!

That's true Azhdeen, though I haven't been to Montreal in years. Here in tiny PEI it's about as clean as you can get. Next year 60% of the island is supposedly going to be powered by wind energy, which isn't much of a step up from what we're currently at, 35% I think. Though when you take into account there are only ~140,000 people in the province it doesn't seem like much really.
And just out of curiosity, what is everybody blaming Canada for?
