I'm going to update our alliance message with the 1500 points rule, but i'll also say that we want potential new members to let us know about their interest in joining even if they don't have enough points - that will allow us to be more flexible and scout out any potential allies that may be useful in the future...

we could allways start a wing that allows people with any points in, they could then report to me for resources and trade and say tranfer them to the allaince once they reach a certain score

i've just contacted dpi on thier policy of attacking a player of our alliance with vastly lower stats

i get the feeling they wont stop, so from tomorrow were have a different policy on dpi, ie let the farming begin

Thanks for the resources Anty. Both of my friends said thank you for accepting them into the alliance, but they said they won't be joining the forum. Don't ask why, I don't know. I guess they just feel like being stubborn, but I'll keep trying to convince them. In the mean while, I'll pass on messages to them about what's going on, and I'll let everyone on this know if they are requesting anything. Congratulations on making Admin Raiden. Don't abuse it. Anyways, how's the ranking system coming? Also, is it going to be based on points, or activity, or what?

I think it'll work best if we assign ranks based on specialties - traders, fleet builders, diplomats, etc.

If we have players who specialise in certain areas, then we can make those areas strong. On the flip side, it means that we will also end up with weaknesses if players focus on particular areas rather than getting a balance - and if a player is taken out who has a particular strength that the Alliance needs, the whole Alliance will be adversely affected.

It's up to you guys to decide what you want to do.

Well guys I was attacked last night twice by DPI] Helge79. First he send a tactical, wiped out my fleet then tryed to farm me. I destroied 1 of two transports but he destroyed all my defence bateries. He stoled 910 pig.

well seeing as i'm the only medium ship capable player so far, i'm very limited, i dont have enough resources coming in to protect 1 player let alone the entire allaince
plus my upgrade centre can also upgrade ships at the same time

We've got another applicant. His name is Scalpel and he has 50 points. He's a Xianer, and other than Trader_Joe, we have no Xianers in our alliance, so he could be useful to us one day. I've set up a vote on the Alliance page, so please vote as soon as you can.

He says he is happy to share resources and information with us, and will be playing day and night. We aren't the only ones then...
