Kinda like the 3d chess set from star wars film. 20,000 quid tho. So we have to wait till it hits mainstream. But man that is cool. _________________

Oh my god I want it! I want it! I want it! I want it! I've seen a simple holographics device before and I was fooled by the image. If this costs 11 grand it must be something special. The ability to manipulate stuff with your hands sound amazing though. ...I get the feeling Nintendo was somehow involved, even if they were just the inspiration.

Well the way i think it works is that it bounces a coloured beam to a set distance in a direction. The beam hits a air particle and the colour stays there for the time of the beam hit. Much the same way a monitor has beams that hit the glass or somit to draw a picture. _________________
